Bookup is a WordPress booking engine for publishing bookable offerings and turning available sessions into confirmed bookings. Use it for events, classes, appointments, services, tours, and other scheduled experiences.
1. Create an Offering
An offering is the item customers can reserve: an event, appointment, service, class, or custom experience. Manage offerings.
2. Publish Availability
Add custom sessions or use recurring rules to generate the dates and times customers can choose. Configure schedules.
3. Add Booking Options
Add tickets or services with prices, quantities, and—where applicable—resource scheduling rules. Configure booking options.
4. Take and Manage Bookings
Embed the booking form, review bookings, adjust status, and help customers manage eligible reservations. Manage bookings.
An offering is the public item you publish. Bookup includes Event and Appointment workflows, while modules can add or adapt additional offering behavior. An offering can include descriptions, an image, categories, locations, tags, labels, hosts, agenda information, booking options, and a public single page.
A session is a bookable start and end time. You can add sessions manually for dates that do not follow a pattern, or define recurrence rules such as daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly schedules. The schedule preview helps you check generated sessions before customers see them.
Booking options are what a customer selects and pays for. Events normally use tickets; appointment-style offerings normally use services. Each option can define a name, price, availability/count, and additional booking behavior. Appointment services can also use resources and capacity rules.
Resources represent limited availability beyond the offering itself. A resource can be a staff member, room, vehicle, table, seat group, or piece of equipment. Bookup checks weekly availability, exceptions, capacity, and assignment rules to prevent conflicts.
A booking stores the selected offering, session(s), option(s), participant details, payment status, and booking status. Customers can access eligible bookings through the customer portal; administrators can manage records from Bookup → Bookings.
