Attributes (Custom Fields) Widget Ordering

Section titled “Attributes (Custom Fields) Widget Ordering”

The Elementor Attributes (Custom Fields) widget does not automatically order rows by the custom field Index value from Listings -> Custom Fields. Add each custom field you want to show as an item in the widget’s Fields repeater, then reorder those repeater items in Elementor to control the displayed row order.

Use the custom field Index setting for Listdom-managed ordering, such as the Add Listing form in the backend and frontend dashboard, and the frontend output of premade Listdom styles.

In the Elementor Attributes (Custom Fields) widget, use the Style tab to style the custom field output independently. The widget includes separate color controls for Field Title Color, Field Value Color, and Field Icon Color, so you can match field labels, values, and icons to the template design without custom CSS.

Category and Location Widget Image Center Style

Section titled “Category and Location Widget Image Center Style”

The Listdom Category and Listdom Location Elementor widgets include an Image Center premade style. Use it when you want taxonomy cards with centered text, equal card sizing, and an image zoom effect on hover.

In the widget’s Style tab, you can also adjust the taxonomy card presentation with controls such as Image Border Radius, title typography, listing-count color and typography, and the content gap between title/count elements. When Show Count is enabled, the listing count appears under the title in this style.

Listdom Elementor registers dynamic tag types for listing data:

  • Listing
  • URL
  • Number
  • Datetime
  • Image
  • Gallery

Use these tags in Elementor fields that support dynamic data.

Create a Listdom Archive Template with Elementor Pro

Section titled “Create a Listdom Archive Template with Elementor Pro”

You can use Elementor Pro Theme Builder to create custom templates for Listdom taxonomy archive pages, such as listing categories, locations, tags, features, and labels. Elementor Pro is required because archive templates and display conditions are part of Elementor Pro’s Theme Builder workflow.

The Listdom Elementor Addon adds a Listings Archive condition to Elementor Pro. Use this condition when you want an Elementor archive template to apply to Listdom archive pages instead of your theme’s default archive layout.

Use this workflow when you want to design a custom archive wrapper, title area, description, banner, filters, or listing-results section for Listdom taxonomy archives. Before you start, make sure Listdom has published listings and at least one usable taxonomy archive, such as a category, location, tag, feature, or label archive.

  1. Open WP Admin -> Templates.
  2. Create a new Archive template with Elementor Pro.
  3. Design the archive header, title area, description area, and any extra content you need.
  4. Add the content area where the Listdom listings should appear.
  5. Click Publish.
  6. In the Display Conditions panel, choose the Listdom archive condition.
  7. Select the archive scope you want to target.
  8. Save the conditions.
  9. Open a Listdom category, location, tag, feature, or label archive on the frontend and test the result.

Elementor Loop Grid can be used to build custom loops, but Listdom listing widgets are not guaranteed to automatically use the current Loop Grid item.

If you want to use Elementor Loop Grid for Listdom listings, test the template carefully. The safer method is to let Listdom render the listing results and use Elementor to design the archive wrapper, heading, intro content, and surrounding layout.

For Elementor’s own archive-template and display-condition behavior, see Create an Archive Template with Elementor Pro and Set Conditions for Site Part Templates. For Listdom-focused template troubleshooting, see Elementor template not showing in Listdom settings.

Do I need Elementor Pro to use the Listdom Elementor Addon?

No. You can build Listdom templates from Listdom -> Elementor Styles without Elementor Pro.

Can I import premade Elementor styles instead of building from scratch?

Yes. Go to WP Admin -> Listdom -> Import / Export -> Elementor Styles and import the preset styles you want for single listings, listing cards, or infowindows.

How do I assign an Elementor Listing Card style to a shortcode?

Go to WP Admin -> Listdom -> Shortcodes, open the shortcode you are using, choose the Style tab in Shortcode Settings, and select your saved Listing Card style from Select the Style.

Which template types can I build with this addon?

You can build Single Listing and Listing Card templates, and Infowindow templates where infowindow layouts are available in your setup.

How do I control the order of custom fields in the Elementor Attributes widget?

Add each field manually in the widget’s Fields repeater and reorder the repeater items in Elementor. The Index value from Listings -> Custom Fields is for Listdom-managed ordering, such as Add Listing forms and premade style output; it does not sort rows inside this Elementor widget.

Where do I find the Listdom widgets in Elementor?

In Elementor’s widget panel, look under the Listing and Listdom categories.

Why do some widgets not appear or show limited output?

Some widgets depend on specific add-ons. Activate the related Listdom addon first (for example Claim, Booking, Reviews, Stats, or Advanced Map).

Can I style widgets from both layout and style controls?

Yes. Configure structure/data in Content (layout behavior), then refine visuals in Style and Elementor’s Advanced tab.
