Modules and Licensing

Bookup uses modules to enable feature areas without loading every optional workflow on every site. Open Bookup → Settings → Modules to review available categories and enable the features your site uses.

Using Modules

1. Open Bookup → Settings → Modules.
2. Select a module category.
3. Enable the feature you need.
4. Save the module settings.
5. Review Bookup → Settings → General for any new module options.

Common module areas include offering content, recurrence, resources, bookings, coupons, display views, notifications, custom display CSS, and Block Editor integration.

Bookup Free and Pro

Bookup Free is the base plugin and must be active for Bookup Pro Pro workflows to load. Bookup Pro extends Bookup Free; it does not replace it.

The supported paid installation is:

1. Activate Bookup Free from bookup.zip.
2. Activate Bookup Pro Pro from bookup-pro.zip.
3. Activate or refresh the Pro license under Bookup → Settings → License.
4. Enable the required Pro modules.

Missing Pro Features Pro

If a Pro feature is not available, check these in order:

1. Bookup Free is active.
2. Bookup Pro is active.
3. The Pro license is active and current.
4. The expected Pro module is enabled.
5. The logged-in user has the required WordPress capability.

A missing, invalid, expired, inactive, or temporarily unavailable Pro license can block Pro modules. Core Free functionality continues to work while the license state is corrected.
