Bookup General Settings

Open Bookup → Settings → General to configure site-wide Bookup behavior. The page is organized into panels that include core settings and option forms provided by enabled modules.

Date and Time Formats

Set the PHP/WordPress date and time formats Bookup uses in public and administrative output. The settings page shows previews for each choice.

Bookup also provides range-format fields for:

Same hour
Same day
Same month
Same year
Other date ranges

These patterns determine how Bookup presents a session start/end range. The preview beside each field helps verify the result before saving.

Currency

Set the site-wide currency and currency-sign position. Individual offering options and payment workflows then use this general formatting unless a related module changes the presentation.

Module Options

Enabled modules can add their own General Settings panel. For example, an offering, booking, display, or integration module may expose options only after it has been enabled in Settings → Modules.

Data Retention

By default, Bookup keeps Bookup-owned business data when the plugin is uninstalled. Enable Delete data on uninstall only if uninstalling should permanently remove Bookup-owned bookings, customers, resources, sessions, options, transients, scheduled events, and metadata.
