Listdom can publish structured data for public directory pages so search engines and other machine-readable clients can better understand listing content.
Go to Listdom > Settings > General and enable Structured Data to output JSON-LD for public single-listing pages and listing collection pages.
What Listdom outputs
Section titled “What Listdom outputs”Listdom builds structured data from valid public listing information and avoids exposing private administration, user, payment, or booking records.
Structured data can include applicable information such as:
- Listing name, URL, description, excerpt, and images
- Category schema type
- Address and coordinates
- Contact details and social links
- Price range
- Opening hours
- Categories, locations, features, labels, tags, and other public terms
- Public custom-field values
- FAQs
- Aggregate ratings and public reviews when the Reviews add-on is active Reviews
- Verified status when the relevant add-on is active
- Public event dates and video information when available
Listdom selects the output according to the page and available data. For example, a listing should not be identified as an Event when it has no valid event dates.
Collection pages can include WebPage, ItemList, BreadcrumbList, and other applicable graph data. This applies to Listdom listing views rendered by built-in single-listing styles and compatible Template Builder layouts.
Category schema types
Section titled “Category schema types”The schema type assigned to a listing can follow its category configuration. Use the most specific valid type that describes the business, organization, place, service, or event represented by that category. If no more specific type is configured, Listdom can use a general local-business type.
After changing schema settings, test a public listing with a structured-data validation tool. The output depends on the listing data that is actually available.

Visibility follows public listing output
Section titled “Visibility follows public listing output”Machine-readable output follows the public visibility of the listing and its supported sections. Data that is private, password-protected, unavailable to logged-out visitors, or suppressed from the public listing context is not intended for public structured-data output.
When a Template Builder layout is used, Listdom still generates structured data from the listing’s valid public information. Hiding a visual element does not automatically mean its underlying data is private. Use the applicable Listdom visibility and AI Visibility controls when information must not be published to machine-readable clients.
Recommended review
Section titled “Recommended review”- Enable Structured Data under Listdom > Settings > General.
- Review a representative public listing as a logged-out visitor.
- Confirm the listing category has the right schema type.
- Check custom-field schema properties where applicable.
- Test the public listing URL with a structured-data validation tool.
- Review active SEO plugins, theme snippets, and builder templates for duplicate schema output.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”Structured data is missing or incomplete
Section titled “Structured data is missing or incomplete”Confirm that Structured Data is enabled, the listing is public, and the selected category has an appropriate schema type. Empty or invalid listing values are intentionally omitted.
Structured data appears twice
Section titled “Structured data appears twice”Check the active theme, SEO plugins, custom snippets, and page-builder templates for another listing schema implementation. Keep one authoritative implementation for the same listing entity.
A listing has the wrong schema type
Section titled “A listing has the wrong schema type”Review the listing’s category configuration and choose the most specific valid schema type for that category. Then test a public listing that uses the category.
Does structured data expose private records?
Section titled “Does structured data expose private records?”No. Listdom builds structured data from public listing information and does not use private administration, user, payment, or booking records.
Does enabling structured data guarantee rich results?
Section titled “Does enabling structured data guarantee rich results?”No. Structured data makes public listing information easier to understand, but external services decide whether and how to use it.
