How to Display the Listdom Listings in Alphabetical Order?

このコンテンツはまだ日本語訳がありません。

By default, Listdom displays listings based on the date they were published — with the newest listings appearing first.
However, in some directory websites, it makes more sense for listings to appear alphabetically so that users can easily browse them by name.

If you want to display listings in alphabetical order rather than by date, you can easily do so through the Sort tab in the shortcode settings.

To adjust the sorting order of listings:

  1. Go to your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Listdom → Shortcodes.
  3. Locate the shortcode that is used on your page (for example, the Half Map skin shortcode used on your All Listings page).
  4. Click Edit to open the shortcode settings.
  5. Open the Sort tab.
  6. Under Default Sort > Order By, select Listing Title from the dropdown options.
  7. Save the shortcode.

After saving the shortcode, listings will automatically be displayed alphabetically on your front-end directory page.
