Listdom provides multiple ways to build your single listing page, from quick built-in layouts to full builder-based templates.

You can use:

  • built-in pre-made styles
  • built-in Design Builder
  • page builder integrations such as Elementor, Divi, and Bricks
  • your theme’s page wrapper through Theme Layout

This gives you a fast starting point and a scalable path for advanced custom layouts.

Use this guide when you want to:

  • understand available single listing style categories
  • compare built-in pre-made styles
  • decide when to use built-in Design Builder
  • decide when to use Elementor, Divi, or Bricks
  • understand which settings affect layout output

Before choosing a style:

  • make sure Listdom is installed and active
  • publish at least one listing for front-end testing
  • install the related Listdom builder add-on for Elementor, Divi, or Bricks workflows

Main menu paths used in this guide:

  • WP Admin → Listdom → Settings → Single Listing
  • WP Admin → Divi → Theme Builder (Divi workflow)
  • WP Admin → Bricks → Templates (Bricks single template workflow)
  • WP Admin → Templates → Theme Builder (Elementor Pro workflow)
  • WP Admin → Listdom → Elementor Styles (Elementor free or Pro workflow via Listdom)

Where the main single listing settings are

Section titled “Where the main single listing settings are”

Go to WP Admin → Listdom → Settings → Single Listing.

In General, the main fields are:

  • Style Category
  • Style
  • Theme Layout
  • Comments

This screen is the main control center for single listing layout behavior. For full field-level details, see Single Listing Settings Menu Documentation.

Available categories depend on active add-ons and builder integrations.

Common categories include:

In Pre-Made Styles, Listdom provides:

  • Style 1
  • Style 2
  • Style 3
  • Style 4
  • Design Builder

Style 1 is the most flexible built-in pre-made style.

  • Uses a one-column flow
  • Allows reordering enabled elements
  • Lets you configure content from the Elements area

Best when: you want a simple built-in layout with element-order flexibility, without moving to an external builder.

Style 2 uses a fixed main-content + sidebar structure.

  • You can enable/disable elements
  • You can configure element settings
  • Element positions remain fixed by style

Best when: you want a structured sidebar layout with faster setup and fewer layout decisions.

Style 3 highlights the gallery first.

  • Gallery slider appears at top
  • Remaining layout follows a fixed sidebar-based structure
  • Element positions remain fixed by style

Best when: you want a gallery-first single listing presentation.

Style 4 uses a compact header layout.

  • Smaller image presentation
  • Image, title, and basic information appear in one row
  • Element positions remain fixed by style

Best when: you want compact directory-style pages (for example, contact/person listings where a large hero image is not the focus).

Design Builder is Listdom’s most flexible built-in method for single listing layouts.

When selected, the Elements area includes:

  • Configuration tab
  • Design Builder tab

Use it to:

  • enable or disable elements
  • adjust element-level settings

Use it to:

  • select Box Method
  • place elements in header, column, and footer sections
  • adjust section widths
  • reorder elements by drag and drop

Theme Layout controls the outer page wrapper from your active theme.

If your theme provides multiple single-page templates, choose the one that matches your design target.

Best practice: if you are unsure, keep Default Layout.

Also avoid selecting archive-style templates for single listing pages.

The Comments option enables/disables the WordPress comments area on single listing pages.

  • you need more visual design freedom
  • your site already depends on one builder ecosystem

In Display Options under single listing settings, you may see:

  • Display Options Per Category Pro

These controls can override default display behavior by category, package, or listing-level permission depending on your active plan/add-ons.

  • Style 1 is the most flexible fixed pre-made style.
  • Style 2, Style 3, and Style 4 keep element positions fixed.
  • Design Builder is the most flexible built-in method overall.
  • Theme Layout still affects the outer wrapper even with built-in styles.
  • Builder categories appear only when related environments/add-ons are active.

Which built-in single listing style is the most flexible?

For pre-made styles, Style 1 is the most flexible. Overall, Design Builder is the most flexible built-in method.

What is the difference between Style 1 and Styles 2–4?

Style 1 provides more element arrangement flexibility. Styles 2, 3, and 4 keep enabled elements in fixed layout positions.

When should I use Elementor, Divi, or Bricks instead of built-in styles?

Use builder integrations when you want custom template design workflows and more visual control than built-in layouts.
