Gallery Skin

View Demo

The Gallery Skin presents listings in an image-focused grid. Each listing card highlights the featured image and can optionally display an image slider of all gallery images. It’s similar to the Grid skin but with enhanced image presentation. You can optionally show a map above or below the gallery.

  1. Select Gallery Skin: Create a shortcode and choose Gallery as the skin (requires Pro).
  2. Choose Style Variation: In the Style tab, select a gallery style and decide if images should show as cover or slider on each card.
  3. Toggle Listing Elements: Choose which information (title, categories, share buttons, etc.) appears on the cards.
  4. Configure Layout: Set the number of columns, listing limit, and pagination method in the Layout tab.
  5. Finalize & Embed: Save the shortcode and embed it. Listings display in a responsive gallery grid with the chosen styling.

After selecting Gallery, you’ll see a notice that this skin displays listings in a mosaic-like format and can include a map. If Pro is not active, the admin will show a warning and the skin will not function.

The Style tab controls both image behavior and which elements appear on each card.

  • Display Image: Toggle to show or hide the image on the card. Normally enabled to highlight visuals.
  • Image Method: Choose Cover to show the featured image or Slider to display all gallery images within the card.
  • Image Fit: Set how the image fills its container—Cover crops to fill, while Contain shows the whole image with possible letterboxing.
  • Categories: Show category labels on each card.
  • Share Buttons: Enable social share icons if the Socials component is active.
  • Title: Display the listing title (recommended).
  • Price: Show the price if pricing is relevant.
  • Labels: Display listing labels when using the Labelize addon.
  • Favorite Icon: If the Favorite addon is active, show a heart icon for quick favoriting.
  • Compare Icon: With the Compare addon, show a compare toggle on each card.
  • Claim Status: If the Claim addon is active, display a claimed indicator.
  • Review Stars: Show rating stars when the Reviews addon provides review data.
  • Excerpt/Description: Some styles let you show a short excerpt. Enable and set a word limit if available.

Gallery skin can include an optional map. In the Map tab, pick a provider—Leaflet or Google Maps (Google Maps requires the Advanced Map addon). Position the map at the top or bottom of the gallery, set its height, and enable clustering if you have many listings. You can also choose what happens when a marker is clicked (info window or open listing).

  • Columns: Choose how many cards appear per row (commonly 2, 3, or 4).
  • Limit: Set how many listings load initially. Use an even number like 12 to keep rows balanced.
  • Pagination Method: Select Load More, Infinite Scroll, or Numeric Pagination. Disabled shows only the initial set with no way to load more.
  • Listing Link: Pro users can open listings in a new tab, lightbox, or panel instead of the default behavior.

Enable Default Sort to control the initial order (e.g., Date Descending, Title Ascending, Random). You can also display a sort bar and choose which sort options (Date, Title, Price, Rating, Views, Random) are available to users.

Attach a search form if you want users to filter the gallery. Choose a search shortcode and place it at the top or bottom. Enable AJAX Search for instant filtering without page reloads.

Pre-filter the gallery by categories, locations, tags, features, labels, or authors. For example, include only listings with a “Featured” label or exclude specific categories. Multiple include filters act together, and excludes remove any matching listings.

Real Estate Listings Grid

Use Image Method = Slider so each property card cycles through gallery images. Enable Price and Review Stars, and allow a lightbox view for quick details. Infinite Scroll keeps the gallery loading as users browse.

Curated Gallery of Top Restaurants

Filter by a “Top10” label and set Limit = 10 with 2 columns. Show rating stars and categories so visitors can quickly scan your curated list.
