How to Deactivate a Listdom Add-on?

If you no longer need a specific Listdom add-on, such as the Claim add-on, you can deactivate it in different ways depending on how it was installed on your website.

This guide covers all available methods so you can safely disable an add-on, or only disable selected features.

Option 1: Deactivate from WordPress Plugins (Independent Installation)

Section titled “Option 1: Deactivate from WordPress Plugins (Independent Installation)”

Use this method when the add-on was installed as a standalone plugin.

  1. Go to WordPress Dashboard → Plugins → Installed Plugins.
  2. Find the add-on (for example, Listdom Claim Add-on).
  3. Click Deactivate.
  4. Optional: Click Delete if you want to remove it completely from your website.

After deactivation, the add-on and its features stop working across your entire website.

Option 2: Deactivate from Toolkit Settings (Bundle Installation)

Section titled “Option 2: Deactivate from Toolkit Settings (Bundle Installation)”

Use this method when the add-on is included in a Listdom Toolkit bundle and does not appear as a separate plugin.

  1. Go to WordPress Dashboard → Listdom → Settings.
  2. Open the Toolkit tab.
  3. Locate the add-on you want to deactivate (for example, Claim add-on).
  4. Disable it from the toolkit controls.

After disabling it in the Toolkit section, the add-on stops functioning on your website.

Option 3: Disable Features in Specific Areas Only

Section titled “Option 3: Disable Features in Specific Areas Only”

Use this method when you want to keep the add-on active, but hide or disable selected features in certain places.

  1. Go to Listdom → Settings.
  2. Locate the related feature or module.
  3. Disable the specific option.

Method 2: Remove Elements from Single Listing Layout

Section titled “Method 2: Remove Elements from Single Listing Layout”
  1. Go to Listdom → Single Listing.
  2. Remove or disable the related add-on element.
  3. Save changes.

Method 3: Remove the Element from Page Builders

Section titled “Method 3: Remove the Element from Page Builders”

If you are using Elementor, Gutenberg, or another builder:

  1. Edit the page or template.
  2. Remove the widget or block related to the add-on.
  3. Update the page.

This approach keeps the add-on installed while preventing it from appearing in specific parts of your website.

Use Option 1

The add-on is installed as a separate plugin under Plugins → Installed Plugins.

Use Option 2

The add-on is part of a Toolkit bundle and is managed inside Listdom → Settings → Toolkit.

Use Option 3

You only want to disable certain features without fully deactivating the add-on.

If you are unsure how the add-on was installed, first check Plugins → Installed Plugins. If you do not see it there, it is most likely managed through the Toolkit section in Listdom settings.
