Listdomer Theme Shortcodes & Elementor Integration Documentation

Listdomer fully supports inserting shortcodes in pages or widgets and integrates with Elementor for custom layouts.

Using Shortcodes in Pages and Widgets

• Shortcodes in Pages: Create a page and insert a Listdom shortcode (e.g., [listdom listings per_page="12" view="grid"]). The theme styles the output automatically.
• Shortcodes in Widgets: Use a Text widget or Custom HTML widget to hold a shortcode in a sidebar or footer. For example, [listdom_search] can output a search form for listings.

Listdomer doesn’t add shortcodes of its own aside from what the Listdom plugin provides.

Elementor Integration

Listdomer adds a custom category “Listdomer” with widgets for Elementor:

• Posts: Display blog posts in Elementor layouts.
• Carousel: Display content in slider format.
• Tiny: A mini content block for compact displays.
• Testimonials: Showcase client testimonials.

Elementor integration also enables creating header or footer templates. When you design a template of type “Listdomer Header” or “Listdomer Footer,” it appears in the Header Type or Footer Type dropdown so you can apply it site-wide.

Examples

Page Shortcode for Listings - Create an “All Listings” page and insert a [listdom listings view="grid"] shortcode to display directory entries in a grid.

Sidebar Listing Search - Place a [listdom_search] shortcode in a Text widget to let users search listings from any page.

Custom Elementor Header - Design a header in Elementor, save it as a Listdomer Header template, and select it in Header Settings to replace the default header.
